We continue to care about your safety and the safety of our staff.

At the Union Hotel in Benicia, we have displayed Covid-19 signage, including any required social distancing signage, floor markings in common areas, and required hygienic practices and policies in all employees and guest common areas.

We require that you wear a mask in all common areas of the hotel. If you do not have one, please let us know and our staff will provide you with a disposable mask.

For the safety of our guests and staff, staff members will not enter your room once you have checked in. We will coordinate a daily trash pick-up and provide fresh bath towels, soaps, shampoos, and coffee refills as needed.

In your room, and throughout the hotel, cleanliness is always our highest priority, and we will continue to maintain our standards. We have alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations in common areas as well as disinfecting spray for your use.

In our common areas you will see increased frequency of wipe downs in contact areas—including front desk and door handles. We are regularly disinfecting all remote controls, keys, doorknobs and other items.

You will find, for our mutual safety, we have removed communal items. You will find a continental breakfast in your room.

In order to protect our guests and staff, all at the Union Hotel are required to be symptom-free, and if unvaccinated, wear a mask while indoors, with the exception of their room. We request anyone to notify us if they are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of visiting the inn.
